MINUTES OF 31st MEETING

at Charles Sturt University, Bathurst
on 5 April1998
Russell Mills opened the meeting at 11.00 am
 
Attendance:
Lisa Adams, Alan Bird,  Alan Brown, Andrew Brown, Trevor Care, Geoff Casey, Prof. Alex Churches, Craig Donovan,  Mark George, Peter Gilbert, Bob Hall, Robert Ibanez, Jim Lake, Egon Meinhardt, Russell Mills, Chris Nichols, Roger Stuart-Smith, John Tindall, Rod & Pam Vaughan, Colin Wingrove and  Prof. Bill Yandell.
 
Apologies:
Jim Munro.
 
Previous Meeting:
Minutes of the previous meeting held on 10 February 1998 had been circulated.  The minutes were approved by the meeting and signed by the chairman.
 
Correspondence:
Nil.
 
General Business:
The committee for ASPACI 2000 reported that organisational work was proceeding OK.  Conference venue and field day site has been arranged and sponsorship is to be addressed shortly.  The members were advised that they would be required for working committees to be arranged at the next meeting.
 
It was reported that the time table regarding Accreditation decided at the national conference is running behind schedule.
 
NCAP test data was discussed.  The Secretary is to contact NCAP and FORS to request access to the data for the benefit of members.

John Tindall mentioned the UK organisation ITAI and recent letter to the Editor in their magazine.
 
The schedule of future meetings was discussed.  It was noted that at the June meeting John Duncan would make a presentation on Photogrammetry and that John Tindall is to arrange for Professor Bill Yandell to be guest speaker at the August meeting.

 
Next Meeting:
The next meeting is to be held at a suitable location in the last half of  June 1998.   John Duncan will make a presentation on his Photogrammetry research.
