Previous Meeting:
Minutes of the previous meeting held on 20 October 1998 had
been circulated. The minutes were approved by the meeting and signed
by the chairman.

General Business:
Discussions were minimised so the members could enjoy the Christmas
hospitality provided by John Jamieson and his staff.
The schedule of future meetings was discussed. It was decided
to hold another mini-conference at Bathurst during April 1999. This
is planned to commence mid-morning on Friday 23 and conclude late morning
Sunday 25 April 1999.
Next Meeting:
It was decided that the next meeting would be held on
8 February 1999 when Mark George will provide a talk on the Test Day he
conducted at Goulburn Police Academy.
Guest Speaker:
Professor Bill Yandell presented his talk on 'Friction'. Arrangements
are in hand for a summary of the talk to be published for members.
The chairman expressed the appreciation of the members to Bill Yandell
for the excellent talk and concluded the formal meeting with a vote of
thanks to John Jamieson for hosting the Christmas function.
