The minutes of meeting held on 8 May 2000 were confirmed.

• The conference CD is still under preparation - awaiting some data from other parties.
• Allan Sutton from South Pacific Tyres as yet to send out notes from the tyre course.
• Andrew Brown has established a new email list (on egroups) that is open to members and guests.  The list operates on the same system as INCR and RTA_Investigators (UK) and is restricted to discussion of issues unique to Australasia.  All meeting notices will be sent via the egroups list in future.  The egroups list also provides a diary (to remind you of meetings), web links, file area and other neat features.
• Mark George proposed that NSW have an annual dinner (separate to our annual NSW conference weekend) with a suitable dinner speaker.  There was general agreement with this proposal and Mark is to investigate venues and costs.
• Stephen Dunn provided the meeting with an update of procedures to access NSW Police photos, plans etc.  He also provided contact details for information from RTA and local councils. 
• The meeting was reminded that there would be an election for the positions of State Director and Secretary at the next meeting.

The next meeting  Monday 23 October 2000 at a location to be arranged. 

Graham Weeks and Chris Wells of Boral gave a presentation on Heavy Vehicle Operations by Boral and lead a discussion on driver training, vehicle maintenance and accident investigation.
