Confirmation of Minutes:

The minutes of meeting held on 25 May 2001 were confirmed.

| Matters Arising from Minutes: |
- Mark George advised that he is still looking into the possibility of an ASPACI Dinner for 2002.
- Storage of ASPACI equipment. Mark is following up cost plus alternative of using a small container.
- Additional ideas for a NSW Conference from Roger Stuart-Smith: Estimation of vehicle speed by bystanders; difference in physical response (not reaction) time for swerve vs braking. These will be added to list of possible activities that will be considered when conference organisation is finalised.

Thank you letter from Guy Stanford (Motorcycle Council of NSW) who was the guest speaker at our last meeting. |
| General Business: |
- Death of Rodney Vaughan on 5 August 2001 - Flowers were sent to Pam on Tuesday 7th, several members attended funeral on Thursday 9th. Mark to send formal letter of Condolence to Pam on behalf of ASPACI.
- AIRIL 01 - held 12-16 August 2001 in Canada. John Tindall attended and will provide a summary at next meeting.
- Accreditation / Code of Ethics. Accreditation was an issue at the ASPACI/AIRIL conference in 1997 but has fallen off the agenda since. Members to consider so that NSW region can formulate a position of this issue.
- Honda Australian Roadcraft Training - ex NSW Police Driver Training facility. Some interest from members in attending facility - Andrew Brown to investigate and consider for future meeting.
- Police membership of ASPACI in NSW is low. Mark George recommended that copies of Momentum be forwarded to the various squads in order to improve their awareness of ASAPCI and encourage their involvement.
- Bryan Bain advised that ACT have reformed their accident investigation squad with about 14 members. They are interested in ASPACI - Andrew Brown and Mark George to meet with them.
- ASPACI web site has been updated and moved to a new ISP. Andrew Brown has rejigged the site which now hosts all ASAPCI NSW web pages including meeting notices and minutes. See www.aspaci.org.au/nsw
